ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Jemma, also known as The Designing Jem on Instagram. I am a Graphic Designer from sunny Gold Coast, Australia, and my mission is to build fresh, fun, and bold branding gems! I have always been a creative person since I was young, which has shaped my career path today! Whether it be painting, colouring in, crafting, or taking photos, I was always seen doing something creative!
I fell in love with design six years ago in High School, and ever since I have been exploring all kinds of design disciplines - in particular album identity and editorial design, which I have burning passions for. Through design, I aim to help clients differentiate themselves in a competitive market where uniqueness is crucial. I believe in using extensive research and innovative storytelling to inform design decisions that can help assist brands in achieving their goals.
With a background in media (photography and videography), I blend the best of both worlds into my design projects. I specialise in brand identity design, but I am working towards being a creative in the music industry. In life, I hope to inspire future generations of young designers to follow their passions no matter what, and never give up on their dreams. I know how disheartnening it can feel to have no one appreciate your work as a young creative, so if I can help even one young person never give up on their dreams, they I am fulfilling my purpose.

I love to listen to music 24/7! I listen to most genres, but especially K-pop!

I love Tennis, Dancing, Swimming, Volleyball & AFL.
Travelling
I have travelled to over 20 countries in my short life so far, which has definitely shaped who I am today!

I love to read (although these days I hardly have the time these days).
